Hello! My name is Carly Kaplan. I'm originally from Dallas, Texas. I currently live in Los Angeles, California.
I'm a social media manager currently working at Amazon Studios. You can find me leading and developing strategy for original series marketing campaigns such as Fleabag, Making the Cut, Small Axe, and more! Previously, you could find me on the social team at Nickelodeon trying not to get slimed.
My true love is hosting and being in front of the camera. At Amazon Prime Video, I've been fortunate enough to host red carpets (hello Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) and have my own digital series called "Carly on the Couch" where I interviewed talent from Al Pacino to Heidi Klum.
At Nickelodeon, my creative partner and I made two successful seasons of our digital series "Inside Nick", We hosted, produced, and wrote this show for Viacom Digital Studios- releasing 4 hours of content and receiving over 11 million views.
I graduated from Emerson College with a BA in Film Production and Marketing Communications.

The first week of COVID lockdown in 2020, I launched and managed social for Season 1 of Amazon Prime Video's first shoppable competition series Making the Cut. Working closely with global partners, internal fashion teams, and a trusted agency, I'm very proud of the Season 1 campaign we created. We produced a live reunion show (right), created nearly 200 custom assets, and produced a digital series. "Short Cuts" (below) was produced while filming in Paris and Tokyo won a Cynopsis Media Award for Best Short Form Content.

Fleabag swept the 2019 Emmys and it was exciting to be on the awards journey with it. With the help of my trusted agency, we doubled the followers on the account and increased engagement dramatically through Season 2 and beyond.
